I could've taken Friday. But since Saturdays have the biggest crowds, I prefer to be busy inside a classroom.

Corsair
Is the Mashup the one that you can build from tables of minis and terrain stuff?
Inarah
It's the one where they dump out buckets of Bones on the table and you can chop off parts to build your own monsters. I think there's also a short version for free at the speed paint. 2

The mashup gives you more parts, and a bunch of sculptors will hang out in the room to help and/or kibitz. 1
GoldenPiggy
This is one of the things I did not do in my first year at ReaperCon last year, either the full class or the Hobby Hijinks version, and I regretted not checking it out. (You can only do so much, I guess, and there is so much to do.) So I went ahead and signed up for Thursday at 11:00. I have no idea what exactly to expect, but I'm very excited.

Expect to feel like a mad scientist (Dr. Frankenstein for the body assembly; Dr. Moreau for the results) with superglue residue on their fingers. You'll be surprised how well some parts can fit into others with just the right amount of slicing and positioning. Afterwards on your own time, with a bit of green stuff, you can fill in the gaps and give it a smooth finish. I've done Bones Mashup every year it's been at the Hilton and I've never regretted it. 4

Corsair
With the mashup, do they have terrain pieces in there too, or "just" creatures?
Moderator Chaoswolf Posted June 22 Moderator Share Posted June 22 There are some terrain pieces, vut not a whole lot. It's definitely mostly figures. It kinda depends on what's available. Last year there were a fair number of CAVS.

It's Bones, they use whatever is on hand. Stuff from the KS mostly. I think last year had a lot of B4 stuff on the table. It looks like this: And you get a mat and a knife (or you can bring your own) and you get to play:
