Randomness XV: 'tis a silly place.

Aah, you seem to have fallen afoul of a hotel room gnome. These mischievous little fey are responsible for all the weird little things that occur when one is residing in a hotel room. The curtain gap that you have already experienced is one commonly reported phenomenon; others include the sudden 20 degree temperature shift in the middle of the night, the alarm clock going off at 3:27 in the morning, or the unexplained noise that doesn't happen until one turns off the lights to try to sleep. Some common deterrents to unwanted hotel room gnome activity include leaving at least one light on in the room(the gnome will think you are still awake and not wish to be seen), leaving out a book (the gnome will read the book and be too busy to cause any mischief), or leaving out a treat for them; they are especially found of dark chocolate and granny Smith apples.

Cool. The skin tone variants all look great.

    Yetis and Friends

I think you have the minispawn well trained to start taking over your painting duties. Nice looking warband.

    His name was zelva zelva

Cool. The nmm looks pretty solid for first effort.
  7. The heavy cruiser class ships in Firestorm Armada are around 3 inches long. They appear on EBay frequently. There's obviously a huge style difference with Battlefleet Gothic if you're using some of those ships though. I don't know anything about Firestorm Armada the game, except it seems to have a poor reputation - I use the ships for Full Thrust and Starmada.

To fix the broken claw, remove any of the remaining claw. Drill a hole with a pin vise and insert a small pin secured with super glue. Use greenstuff, (or favorite air dry sculpting medium) to sculpt new claw. Alternatively, you could also use some plastic rod or wood carved to shape.

Spikeshell Warriors sku: 77270 Did a bit of customization for a friend for his dnd game. Unfortunately, the character died before I could finish painting him. Apparently zelva means turtle in...another language, so his name was turtle turtle, the paladin. The story goes that he found a cape made of leaves. As the character progressed in a downward spiral, corruption overcame him. It manifested in the cape and as his madness became worse, the leaves started dying. Major events are shown in the form of the flowers. The deep purple flower is the characters first murder. My first time seriously trying NMM, not sure I did too well, had a lot of restarts.I tried to have the edge of the sword gold but...Im not sure I like the final result. sku: 77270

    That's no warband - that's a chorus.

Well - the "natural" way of recreating grass normally is a mixture of tufts and loose grass, as within nature there are also patches of grass looking different from the rest of the green. But for a 25mm base, that rarely makes any sense, especially when you have got stones and so on glued on the base. As soon as you glue grass to it, everything else starts to disappear within the green.

Cool! I'm using tufts these days to enhance the jungle temple bases and the ones I make myself for my Lost World. I find them quite handy.

I've got it all. And I'll take the tufts because the moment I try to glue snow on the base I'll rip down the grass again. I had that problem with my Russian girls.

    Bones 4 darkreach gnomes

Those are very cool! I'll have to think about them when they become available. Nice job - that skin tone gives them a very sinister look.

Lidless Eye Hobbies: Goblins! (Rebel Minis & Reaper)

These are all great minis, but I especially like the little guy with the trunk and the backpack. He's like a goblin version of Oswald the Overladen.
